The fact people are getting this pissed off about side characters being lgbt & appearing in a single scene is frightening. Imagine when someone from the main cast is confirmed lgbt & a relationship actually happens.

Yeah it’s downright terrifying and a great demonstration of what’s actually wrong with this fandom. Shippers getting a little over enthusiastic and hyper focusing on their ship in good fun aren’t the problem. The problem is sexist, racist, and homophobic “fans” who are all “stop being so entitled/let them tell their story/not everything needs be gay” that are soooooo convinced that whatever vision of the show they have (ie everything is straight because gay people apparently only exist when someone wants to be political) matches the writers and who immediately attack them and the fans with instense homophobic vigor when they’re proven wrong when the writers do something as simple as allowing a pair of married women to just exist in the show.

God I really don’t want to see what happens if/when anyone in the main cast is lgbt, especially if/when that leads to a canon relationship (likely bees at this point lbr) because seriously that group is awful
